We have witnessed the tremendous development of AI in the last five years and its spread to all areas of economic and social life, including actual wars. While the world is wondering how to protect itself from the dangerous consequences of these processes, the great powers do not seem to have this dilemma. For them, the issue of developing this field is an essential issue of survival. That is why the USA and China are investing huge amounts of money in development and application, while others are trying with smaller means not to lag behind too much or to specialize in certain niches.
We will talk to some of the most serious experts in this field about how this development is going and what resources and methods great and medium powers are using to lead in innovation and application in this field.
Arvind Gupta is the founder and director of the Digital India Foundation and one of the most important people for the development of digital infrastructure in India, but also very active in global initiatives for the spread of digital literacy to poorer societies.
Mehran Gul is a consultant and lecturer at numerous prestigious universities, but also the author of the multi-award-winning book The New Geography of Innovation (2025).
