He will first illuminate how literature genealogically emerged as a source of legitimate knowledge, contrary to what some philosophers have claimed, and then show how literature specifically contributes to knowledge in political science. By seeing what political science can learn from literature, political scientists will be able to restore theoretical and normative relevance into their empirical studies.
