Today, the world is changing rapidly and the social environment is increasingly uncertain. For this very reason, conservative values—namely respect for and the preservation of traditions, stability, and a sense of community—can provide a genuine compass and stability for younger generations as they navigate their identities. Although youth are naturally open to global trends, this does not mean that conservative thinking and values should be pushed to the periphery.
The guest speaker of the event is Teresa Nogueira Pinto, professor at Universidade Lusófona in Portugal, who will place the appeal of conservatism among young people into context from the perspective of an expert in international relations. She will outline the strategic tools and measures through which a community of conservative youth can be strengthened. In addition, she will address whether an intellectual dialogue is possible that can offer valid responses to the challenges of the modern age without abandoning core conservative values. The aim of the discussion is to explore the political and cultural appeal of conservatism for the builders of the future.
