The conversation will highlight the importance of regional dialogues and bilateral cooperation, which are particularly valuable for North Macedonia as it navigates its specific bilateral challenges. A key common ground between the two countries is the firm commitment to national sovereignty, alongside parallel efforts in family policy and demography — areas where both nations recognize the strategic importance of supporting families and addressing demographic challenges for long-term societal strength.

Migration and regional stability represent another vital shared priority and challenge. Both Hungary and North Macedonia stand together in protecting external borders and maintaining peace and security in the region.

These political alignments are complemented by rapidly growing economic cooperation. From substantial Hungarian credit lines and investment initiatives to concrete projects in infrastructure, energy, telecommunications, digital economy, and transport connectivity, the two countries are turning friendship into tangible prosperity.

Prime Minister Mickoski will share his vision for the future of Hungarian-Macedonian relations, focusing on deepening economic ties, unlocking new business opportunities, and advancing joint projects that benefit both nations and contribute to the broader development of the Western Balkans.
