Lawyer and data protection expert, Vice president of the Hungarian National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information since January 2012. In 2019, he was shortlisted by the European Commission for the position of the European Data Protection Supervisor. He graduated from Pázmány Péter Catholic University Faculty of Law and Political Sciences in Budapest in 2002, and received his postgraduate specialization in environmental protection law in 2004. Later he successfully completed the Public administration specialist examination and the Lawyer’s bar exam. He defended his PhD at the Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church Faculty of Law Doctorate School in 2020 on the analysis of the level of data protection afforded by the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union.
