His research interests include Christian ethics, focusing on Dietrich Bonhoeffer, the problem of dirty hands, Reinhold Niebuhr, and bioethics, as well as systematic theology, particularly the doctrine of providence, Anglican ecclesiology, and theological anthropology. He earned his Ph.D. from Southern Methodist University in 2016 and holds an M.T.S. degree.
