Every Generation Has a Duty to Fight for its Cultural Heritage": MCC Particpates in an International Heritage Protection Conference

16 students from MCC's School of Law participated in an international conference on different aspects of cultural heritage protection. The conference covered topics such as the protection of culture in the era of globalisation and European integration, the challenges of artificial intelligence and armed conflict, and the specific situation of underwater heritage. The students presented cases of Hungarian cultural heritage protection such as the Verespatak investment and the protection of the origin of Tokaj wine.

Never before have so many people applied to MCC FIT - admission to the University Programme is still open

This year, a record number of 3200 elementary school students from across the Carpathian Basin have enrolled in the Mathias Corvinus Collegium (MCC) Young Talent Programme (FIT), which offers education in 27 cities, in addition to and complementary to public education, from the age of 10. MCC's High School Program (KP) has also been popular with young people, with more than 600 high school students applying this year. The MCC's University Program is still open: six MCC training centres (Budapest, Debrecen, Győr, Miskolc, Szeged, Pécs) are accepting applications from students who have just finished their highschool studies until 8 August. The MCC currently has more than 7,600 students in 28 training centres, from the age of 10 up to doctoral level.

MCC summer camp was organized for FIT students from Szombathely

The summer camp was based in Zirc where the students of FIT from Szombathely moved into the Bakony outlaw world. After visiting the Festetics castle in Keszthely, the lookout tower in Hegyestű and the castle in Szigliget, they got to know the story of Jóska Sobri, Sándor Rózsa and their companions in the evening programme, where humour and good humour were not missed.
