Emerging Voices 3.0 - Perspectives from the Next Generation of Scholars in Youth Research

As the world changes, the challenges and opportunities facing young people are also transforming. The latest publication of the Youth Research Institute, Youth '25: Report on Youth Affairs, collects the defining developments that affected young people in Hungary and around the world in 2025 – highlighting topics such as education, family, identity, the role of Hungarian youth abroad and the community, as well as the political preferences of the young generation.

The Youth Research Institute will hold the third 'Emerging Voices: Perspectives from the Next Generation of Scholars in Youth Research' conference in Budapest on May 14, 2026. Emerging Voices brings together young professionals and PhD students from around the world who focus on youth in their research. This year’s meeting will focus on the following topics:

“Revolutions” – Political activism, changes, and shifts in participation among the new political generation
The AI-generation – Strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of artificial intelligence

Key challenges - The most significant issues affecting young people today
