Over the past decades, the region’s economic structure has been shaped by Western capital investment, political integration, the transformation of global labor division, and the rise of new—primarily digital—technologies, while Western institutional norms, standards, and regulations have also gradually been embedded. At the same time, local factors—such as geographical location, resources, historical heritage, social norms, economic interests, and post-transformation entrepreneurial networks—have played a decisive role.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together international experts on the topic, to jointly seek answers to the above questions, and to strengthen the networks of Central and Eastern European entrepreneurship research and scientific cooperation.
