  • Center for Entrepreneurship Research

Based on 15 structured in-depth interviews with Polish companies—from micro-brands to market leaders—the research identifies the key forces shaping the D2C sector: quality-driven competition, rising cost pressures, export-oriented growth, rapid but uneven digitalisation, labour shortages, and strong founder-driven governance. These findings closely mirror patterns observed in Hungary, creating the first comparable map of Central Europe’s emerging consumer-brand economy.
