At the conference Crises and Development – The Impact of Multiple Crises on the Evolution of EU Law, hosted by ELTE Law School in Budapest celebrating twenty years of Hungarian EU-memership, Kálmán Pócza and Márton Csapodi addressed the question of jurisdictional conflicts between national constitutional courts and the Court of Justice of the EU. Participating in a public law workshop, they argued the active involvement of political mechanisms in resolving competence conflicts are essential for the EU's resilience. They suggested that maintaining a balance between national and EU judicial authorities through political compromise is crucial. The keynote speaker of the conference was Prof. Dr. Koen Lenaerts, President of the Court of Justice of the European Union.
