Dr. Marco V. Crivellaro’s work bridges Classical Philology, Digital Humanities, and the epistemology of Artificial Intelligence in education and research. His interdisciplinary approach explores how classical traditions of critical thought can inform responsible and human-centered uses of emerging technologies in the humanities and social sciences.

Dr. Crivellaro earned a PhD in Classical Philology, a Master of Arts in Cultural Studies, a Master of Library and Information Science with a focus on Digital Humanities Librarianship, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Modern History. Dr. Crivellaro has taught and conducted research in Italy, the United States, France, the United Kingdom,

Singapore, and Greece. Since 2019, he has served as Library and Research Studio Coordinator at the American Community Schools of Athens.

His recent and forthcoming publications include AI in Social Sciences (Vernon Press, 2026), The AI Edge (Palgrave Macmillan, 2024), and several studies on AI ethics, information literacy, and digital epistemology.

Through his teaching and scholarship, Dr. Crivellaro promotes a dialogue between classical humanism and technological innovation, emphasizing the continuity between ancient modes of reasoning and the ethical challenges of the digital age.
