The research examines the factors shaping mass tourism in Tenerife, with a focus on cultural heritage, eco-sustainability, and sports tourism. It explores how these elements, along with the island's historical and natural attractions, influence tourist behavior and preferences. By analyzing the diversification of tourism—such as eco-, cultural, heritage, and sports tourism—the study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of current challenges and opportunities. The project concludes with an assessment of the positives and negatives of mass tourism and proposes potential solutions for sustainable development.
