Today’s multipolar world is more complex than the world economy in the 1990s. The practice of “business as usual” is becoming less and less applicable. Business leaders need to integrate risk management into everyday business as well as develop a fundamentally new geopolitical perspective. Business strategies cannot be separated from geopolitics, therefore geopolitical risks have a huge impact on the business environment. Merges and acquisitions recently became one of the most important issues of international trade and economy. There is a political agenda in the background and now geopolitical tensions are clear. Our next distinguished guest, Dr. Ceyhun Emre Dogru, a consultant and scholar of corporate affairs & public policy will explain how they play on the global chessboard when it comes to geopolitics and business. Some examples of recent merges will be introduced and Hungarian-Turkish business relations and their prospects will be also covered.
