What are the differences between Hungarian and Polish approaches to higher education, and what can we learn from each other? What is the role of elite education in the age of mass education growth? Recent education reforms in Poland have been criticised by many experts. The abolition of homework and the recently introduced "past and present" school subject have also provoked many dissents.
The podium will also discuss the statement issued by the Hungarian-Polish Joint Committee of Historians of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences (MTA) due to the erased contents of Hungarian-Polish historical connections in the 2024 Polish curriculum reform.
