Péter Hack is a Hungarian legal scholar, university professor, and politician. His research focuses on the functioning and organization of the police and the judiciary, the enforcement of human rights in criminal proceedings, the legal instruments for combating corruption, and the law of transitional justice. He served as a Member of Parliament from 1990 to 2002.
