The two-day training of the Leadership Programme was centred around the creation of start-ups. The participants learnt about what is considered a good and viable idea and what does planning require. Principal researcher Yannick Dillen from Vlerick Business School, Belgium joined the programme online with his presentation The Essence of Entrepreneurship. The importance of asking questions was highlighted as in many cases new start up ideas develop as a result of the right questions asked at the right time.
During the weekend, the students participated in a “start-up challenge” where working in teams, they managed to come up with ideas of feasible businesses through answering questions and thoroughly considering multiple criteria. Many thanks to Yannick and Paris Noble organiser, business developer for their ideas and assistance during the weekend.
