On 14 May 2023, we held the next event in our highly successful Election Night series at the MCC. On Turkish Election Day, we took a look at Turkey with our invited speakers in two panel discussions.
The first panel focused on the first century of the republic, while the second panel focused on the coming century of Turkey, assessing the domestic and foreign policy background to the elections, the economic situation, the circumstances surrounding the elections, and the possible changes in Turkey's role on the international stage depending on the expected results of the elections. The experts agreed that this election is likely to be a close contest between the presidential candidates. The evening was enriched by the melodies of the Arasinda band and the flavors of Turkish cuisine.
