This week, a delegation of Tsinghua University met again in person, this time at MCC’s headquarters in Budapest, continuing a growing academic dialogue between the two institutions.
The visit welcomed a group of university students from Tsinghua University’s Center for International Security and Strategy, who arrived in Hungary for a study trip. The meeting provided an opportunity for in depth professional exchange and relationship building, as well as for discussions on strategic issues expected to shape the coming decades. Topics included the future of transatlantic relations, migration, the societal impact of technological development, and the challenges posed by ageing societies.
As part of the program, the visiting delegation received a comprehensive overview of MCC’s centers and educational philosophy. This was followed by a professional discussion between MCC’s academic staff and the head of the Tsinghua delegation, focusing on shared research interests and academic perspectives.
The meeting also served as a return visit following last year’s delegation trip to Beijing, further strengthening institutional ties and contributing to the long term development of professional cooperation between MCC and Tsinghua University.
