MCC High School Program student Bence Tachu has won two silver medals at the International Earth Science Olympiad (IESO) in Turin, where 160 students from around 40 countries competed in this year’s international contest.
The Hungarian team returned home with an impressive ten medals, including two gold, four silver, and four bronze, marking a strong overall performance at the international competition.
Bence, student at Bolyai János High School in Kecskemét, secured silver in two categories. He finished second in the individual competition and also earned a silver medal in the International Team Field Investigation (ITFI), a field-based team competition.
With two silver medals, Bence contributed to Hungary’s successful performance in Turin and represented both his school and MCC’s High School Program on the international stage.
