MCC's German–Hungarian Institute for European Cooperation celebrates its fifth anniversary on December 1, 2025. To mark this milestone, the Institute has released a comprehensive report summarizing its activities and achievements from the past half decade, highlighting its research output, international engagement, and its work in strengthening German–Hungarian relations.
The Institute began its operations at the end of 2020, during the height of pandemic-related uncertainty. Despite the challenging start, the Institute has achieved remarkable progress over the past five years. Today, it is recognized as Hungary’s leading research and analysis hub dedicated specifically to Germany and the German-speaking world. It has also become a respected reference point in Germany and across the broader German-speaking region for expertise on Hungary.
