From study trips across Europe to interactive workshops, community programs and activities centered on cultural traditions, MCC's High School Program in Transcarpathia offers students opportunities that go far beyond the classroom. The program aims to help young people expand their knowledge, discover new interests and grow both personally and academically within a supportive community.
Experience-based learning is a key part of the program. Alongside lectures and workshops, students take part in study trips and community activities that expose them to new places, cultures and perspectives. Students from MCC Transcarpathia have travelled to Hungary, Transylvania, Belgium, France and Azerbaijan, while also getting to know their own region from a different perspective.
These experiences take learning beyond the classroom, giving students insights that cannot always be gained from textbooks. Meeting new people and experiencing different cultures and ways of thinking help them broaden their horizons, become more independent and better understand the world around them.
The program also places a strong emphasis on cultural heritage and traditions. Through activities focused on local customs and cultural heritage, students can learn more about the values and traditions passed down through generations. At the same time, lectures and interactive workshops give them the chance to ask questions, exchange ideas, work together and explore a variety of topics and fields.
