The 2026/2027 academic year has officially begun in MCC’s Roma Talent Program, with 47 high school students and 25 university students joining the program this year. At the opening ceremony, István Antal, Head of MCC's Roma Talent Program, welcomed the participants and wished them a successful year ahead.
Students also played an active role in the celebration. Réka Boglárka Bardi shared her personal reflections with fellow students, while Klaudia Berecz recited a poem by Mihály Váci. Bertalan Kadét also contributed to the program by presenting a short story.
Since 2018, the Roma Talent Program has supported Roma high school and university students from across Hungary in their studies, career choices, and long-term goals. Professional training, foreign language courses, and personal mentoring help students develop their knowledge and skills, while community programs provide opportunities to build connections, exchange experiences, and learn from each other.
The new academic year will give students plenty of opportunities to gain knowledge and experience that they can build on throughout their studies and future careers. They will also continue to be part of a strong community where they can support each other and work toward their goals together.
