Zsolt Wittmann began his talent development work in 2013 as the coordinator of the High School Program at Mathias Corvinus Collegium. Within this framework, he focused on extracurricular talent development for high school students, primarily in the field of social sciences. The goal was to prepare the future generation of leaders for a responsible and high-quality professional career in disciplines such as law, economics, international relations, and psychology.

In 2017, he was appointed to lead the High School Program. During his tenure, the number of students participating in the program quadrupled, and the training offer was expanded with numerous new professional elements. Starting in 2020, together with his team, he transformed the program into a Carpathian Basin-wide talent development network, which is now available free of charge in 17 cities in Hungary and 11 cities beyond the Hungarian borders.

His mission is to provide high-quality talent development opportunities for students regardless of their family or financial background. As program director, he organized academic competitions, conferences, and countless training sessions, camps, and professional excursions with the help of MCC colleagues, teachers, and students. He was also involved in founding the National Problem-Solving Competition for high school students and a nationwide debate competition.

Thousands of students from the High School Program have continued their studies successfully at top universities both in Hungary and abroad. As of May 2025, he is responsible for MCC’s high school rankings as well as maintaining relationships and developing collaborations with schools.
