He graduated from University of Zagreb’s Faculty of Law in 2003, and entered a postgraduate Trade and Corporate Law program. In 2012, he completed the Trade and Corporate Law PhD program, successfully defending a Ph.D. thesis titled Digital Content Management in Information Society. From 2003 to 2004, he worked as an associate for Croatian Academic Research Network, an academic ISP and education services provider and CERT. From 2004 to 2006, he worked as an attaché for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of the Republic of Croatia. In 2006, he returned to the Faculty of Law to the ICT Law Department. Member of the Croatian Internet Governance Forum, Croatian Copyright Society, Croatian Academy of Legal Sciences. Member of the Program Board of the CARNet Users Conference. As a consultant for legal aspects of information security, data protection and various regulatory compliance issues, he participated in over thirty compliance projects for leading Croatian, regional and international companies.
