Jiandong Shi is a researcher at the MCC Center for Foreign Economy. His primary area of study is the trade relations between China and the United States, with a special focus on trade imbalances. He has published 15 academic papers and has authored one book and co-authored another, both primarily focusing on the trade relations and history between China and the U.S. Additionally, he has authored three think tank reports on the economic conditions in China, Japan, and Korea, and edited a book on a related topic.
