Lasse B. Lassen is a post doctoral researcher affiliated with the Chair of Modern History at the University of Würzburg, Germany. His research interests include the history of the Iberian peninsula and Latin America in the 19th and 20th centuries with a special focus on transitional justice and processes of coping with dictatorial pasts as well as the impact of the Cold War. His dissertation on foreign policy networks of socialist Cuba in the 1960s was published by Routledge in 2025
