Blanka Kovács graduated as an International Public Service Manager at the Faculty of International and European Studies of the National University Of Public Service.  Currently, she is the student of  the  Faculty of Military Science and Officer Training at University of Public Service and the Faculty of Humanities at Lorand Eötvös University. During her studies, Blanka was the professional leader at a college for advanced studies, furthermore she currently is the communicational vice-president of an association. She joined the Migration Research Institute in March 2020. Her main research areas focus on the Islamic world, the security status of the Middle East and South Asia, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan and the connection between the dynamics of jihadist movements, armed conflicts and migration.
