Dominic Burbridge is the Founding Director of the Canterbury Institute, a research and graduate studies institute in Oxford that seeks rediscovery of the academic vocation through humility towards the truth. A graduate of the University of Oxford, Dr Burbidge has held numerous teaching, research and administrative positions across the University. He recently served as a Research Director for the Templeton World Charity Foundation project, “Citizenship in a Networked Age”, and for 2019-21 was Lecturer in Politics for St Peter’s College, Oxford. He is currently Research Coordinator of the University of Oxford's Faculty of Law, alongside his role as Director of the Canterbury Institute. Dr Burbidge is the single author of two books and numerous peer-reviewed articles on the nature of democracy, social trust and interpersonal unity.
