Alberto Garzoni is a doctoral candidate in Theology (Patristics and Christian Ethics) at Keble College, University of Oxford. He holds an MA in Philosophy (Hons) from the University of Padua and a Diploma in Moral Sciences (Hons) from the Galilean School of Higher Education. Part of the coursework towards those degrees was completed at Boston University. His research focuses on Augustine of Hippo's political thought and its reception in contemporary political philosophy. He is politically active both in the United Kingdom and in his native Lombardy.
