Veronika Spanarova began her career at Citi in the Czech Republic in 1995 and has gained significant leadership experience both in the Czech Republic and abroad. She worked in the corporate banking division in Prague, then moved to Citi's corporate banking division in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she spent five years. In 2010, she continued her career at Citi's Czech Republic office in Prague, where she held several leadership positions in Citi's retail banking division. In 2012, Veronika was appointed as the head of Citi's retail business in the Czech Republic. In 2016, she moved to Bratislava, where she became the CEO of Citi Slovakia in May 2016. Veronika Spanarova graduated as an economist from Charles University in Prague. She is married and has three children.
