Miklós Szánthó is a lawyer and Director General of the Centre for Fundamental Rights. Since 2018, he has been a trustee of the Central European Press and MediaFoundation. In March 2021, President János Áder awarded him the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary in recognition of his high quality legal and political analysis and his publications in Hungarian and foreign languages.
