René Tapia is a lawyer with an LLM in Constitutional Law from the Catholic University of Chile (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile). He is also a PhD student at the University of Barcelona where he teaches constitutional law. He is a member of the Research Group on Democracy and Constitutionalism (GEDECO) and also an alumnus of the U.S. State Department.
