Mr. Gábor Orbán is the Chief Executive Officer of Richter Gedeon Plc, in addition to being the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Semmelweis University and a member of the Board of Trustees of UNICEF Hungary, as well as a member of the National Science Policy Council. He holds a degree in Finance from the Budapest University of Economics and Public Administration, and has previously served as an analyst at both the European Central Bank and the Hungarian National Bank. From 2013 to 2015, he served as the State Secretary for Tax and Finance at the Ministry of National Economy. Mr. Orbán is a published author of numerous papers on the Hungarian pension system and Hungarian fiscal policy, and has been awarded both a Presidential Certificate of Appreciation by the MNB and a Professional Excellence Award by AEGON. He possesses a high level of proficiency in English and French, as well as an intermediate level of proficiency in German.
