Alexander Marguier, economist, was born 21.06.1969 in Horb am Neckar.

From 1998 till 2010 he worked as political editor for the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeinen Sonntagszeitung. In 2010 he became deputy editor-in-chief of the monthly politic magazine Cicero – Magazin für politische Kultur. Since May 2016 he is editor-in-chief of the magazine Cicero as well as managing partner of the publishing house Res Publica Verlags GmbH.
