Edouard Husson is a university professor. His work has focused on the origins of Nazism in German history, on Hitler's dictatorship and the Shoah, and on the history of Germany's democratization after 1945. He is currently expanding his analysis of European history to include Britain and is working on a biography of Benjamin Disraeli. Edouard Husson is a former rector; he was the director-general of ESCP Europe and vice-president of the PSL University. He is currently director of the Franco-German Institute for European Studies (University of Cergy-Pontoise).
