Is the future really only for engineers, IT professionals and economists? If we browse through job advertisements or the strategies of big companies, and in many cases even government educational programs, this can be our impression. At the same time, in the search for answers to social and cultural challenges, it is becoming increasingly clear that there is a great need for humanities that look at man in unity as well as nurture and pass on the classical tradition.

Speakers:

  • Joshua Katz, linguist, classicist and professor at Princeton University,
  • Patrick Gray, senior visiting fellow at MCC,
  • and Tibor Fischer, head of the Center for Literary Studies at MCC.

Participation in the event is free, but in all cases it is subject to registration, which we adapt to the current epidemiological regulations.
